Prepare The Event Day

Prepare the schedule and spectator view, using golf as an example.

Examples use golf. For another sport, choose its available rules, scoring, and exercises. Golf-only features are noted in the steps.

Open The Schedule. Open the Schedule tab (1) and choose New schedule (2) to generate the starting groups. Other sports use their own match and venue scheduling instead of golf groups.

Generate The Groups. Select the competition and round (1), then set Group Size, Groups Count, the Start time and the Time Gap between groups (2). Seeding decides who plays together, for example by handicap or at random; choose Generate (3).

Check The Groups. Check the players and tee time of each starting group (1) before you share the schedule. Choose New schedule again if you want to change the groups.

Open Buggy Assignments. For golf events with carts, open Event tools (1) and choose Buggy assignments (2). Cart cards are golf-specific; other sports use their schedule tools instead.

Print The Buggy Cards. Each buggy takes up to two players from one starting group (1), so a group of three needs a second buggy. Choose Buggy cards (2) to create the cards, which carry the group’s scoring code; download them later in Reports, opened from the notifications bell.

Create A Live Link. Open the Links tab (1) and choose New live link (2). A live link is a results page for spectators or a clubhouse screen, separate from the event page.

Choose What It Shows. Enter a Label (1), then select the competition and round to show (2). Add Row (3) adds another competition or round to the same page.

Set Up The Display. Choose what the results table shows, such as the header, hole detail, flags and avatars (1). For a screen, switch on Rotation Mode to page through the table and Auto Reload to refresh it (2), then choose Save (3) to add the link.

Save And Open The Link. The dialog only adds the link; choose Save in the unsaved changes bar (1) to store it with the event. Then choose the open button of the live link (2) and share that page’s address with spectators.

Check The Spectator Page. The live page shows the selected competition and round as spectators see it; open it full screen on a clubhouse TV. The settings button in the corner (1) adjusts the view on this screen only.
